Makka Kishu
A horseman has set himself the goal of gathering and appropriating all the herds of horses in the world.
In this senseless quest, neglecting play, tenderness, love, compassion, he remains cruelly indifferent to others. However, faced with the magnitude of the task, he finally realizes that his ambition is excessive, unattainable. He has to face the facts: one cannot become the master of such a vast whole!
But it is too late, what makes life worth living has escaped him, he has grown old and it is now the others who are turning away from him or who have disappeared. Mortified by the wise man of the mountain, belatedly making amends, all that remains is for him to write as a warning: the story of "The man who wanted to own all the horses in the world"...
A philosophical tale, a reflection on the accumulation of goods beyond all logic, enrichment at all costs, the desire for possession and, in the end, despite everything, the possibility of redemption.
