Because our society is becoming a knowledge society every day and despite the omnipresence of screens, reading remains the cornerstone of our children's education. Knowing how to read and how to read well allows us to inform ourselves, to escape and to develop our imagination. Storyplay'r is mobilizing every second to promote reading everywhere, all the time and by all means by bringing reading where it is not yet: on the screens of our children.

For geographical or social reasons, access to books is sometimes difficult. By making our library accessible on all digital media, we are making reading as easy as possible for everyone.

Not all children have the same reading ability. Storyplay'r makes every effort to help children with reading difficulties or disabilities, including dyslexic children: audio versions, modulation of reading pace, text display options.

Digital technology makes it possible to efficiently combine written and audio text, digital technology makes it possible to display text in a personalized way that is adapted to each reader, digital technology makes it possible to colorize complicated phonemes and silent letters, digital technology makes it possible to have an entire library in one's pocket, digital technology makes it possible to practice reading by recording and replaying the text. Storyplay'r takes advantage of all these possibilities to make reading more accessible and easier.

We see digital as a complement to the paper book. The on-screen reading experiences we offer are meant to complement paper reading. For our partner publishers, often small independents, Storyplay'r is an opportunity to make themselves and their paper publications known.

Digital technology and the quantity of content it makes available to all must not be developed at the expense of quality. Education through reading is also education in well written texts and beautiful illustrations.

That's why Storyplay'r works closely with renowned independent publishers who have selected for us and for your children the best authors and the most beautiful stories.

For very young children, reading means being told a story. Based on this observation, the Storyplay'r teams have placed sharing at the center of the proposed uses: recording and sharing of narrations, reading workshops, readings with projection, shared online readings...

This idea of sharing is at the heart of the partnership that Storyplay'r has set up with the Association 'Lire et faire lire', the Ligue de l'Enseignement and the Union Nationale des Associations Familiales. Storyplay'r helps Lire et Faire Lire volunteers to share their pleasure of reading by allowing them to record and share their narration with children in elementary school and other educational structures (leisure centers, day care centers, libraries).
