Worried about the situation, the animals of the forest end up asking for advice from the old owl. He then decides, to leave Martha with Lady Rabbit, to protect her. Waiting for her parents to find a solution to their issues, Martha will be placed in the children's home, "L'Embellie". In this other house, surrounded by kind adults, the little marten could calm herself down and find the joy of playing again...

Paul & Albin are twins: they're always together, they do everything together. Tomorrow, they go to a new school and have to start over. Because Albin doesn't talk to anyone but his mom, his friends Léo & Anita, and his brother. Some think that Albin is an idiot, and it makes Paul very angry.

We enter this colorful book with a beautiful landscape of hills, meadows, trees, and a river. Little by little, animals arrive. A question is asked by the dialog of two narrators: "What is in this landscape?" A character, "someone" then appears. And this "someone", the hero of this mysterious adventure will dig a hole, plant a seed in it then patiently wait. The little reader will then wonder what strange thing will come out of the ground. What will be their surprise when they'll see a house!

Tony Durand proposes that children and their parents wonder about the world, mankind in this environment, and their impact on it. We're going through the colorful images, full of creativity where the child will enjoy discovering each detail.
