Disability

French books and audio stories for kids

Respect is about accepting yourself and others. We are all different and some of us are born or develop a disability, that is, we have a physical or intellectual impairment and interact differently with the world around us. It is therefore important to address this notion with your child so that he/she understands the disability and learns to live with it, without embarrassment and with kindness.

Deux mains pour le dire : L'affaire Aminata
Deux mains pour le dire : L'affaire Aminata

This book is the second volume after Deux mains pour le dire. After a year spent in the Netherlands, where he has fallen in love with Hilda, Jonathan is back in his old neighborhood. Our hero finds his best friend, Manuel, and is delighted to meet Lisa, a young deaf girl who communicates through sign language, and about whom Manuel has written a lot in his letters.

While in Deux mains pour le dire (volume 1), Manuel and Lisa were in the foreground, here it is Jonathan who plays the main role.
