Léon Melon is a tall, stern man who always leaves his house wearing his round hat, "black as coal". He looks with a grumpy eye at his young neighbour Jérémie, "a bit of a rascal", who never stops playing, jumping and galloping. On a windy day, Mr. Melon's frail body is shaken and his round hat flies off. This album was a finalist for the Prix Philippe Beha 2017 and received first prize in the Grand prix du livre de la Montérégie, category Tout-petits 2016.
