Salut ! Je m’appelle Alex Pianola et jusqu’à tout récemment j’étais un garçon normal… j’allais à l’école, je perdais mes devoirs et je dévorais des pizzas. Tout a changé le jour où j’ai rencontré M. Flat, un monstre qui vit maintenant dans ma chambre. D’où vient-il ? Du Livre des monstres, bien sûr ! Il vivait dans le livre avant que le méchant docteur Brut ne l'en chasse. À présent, docteur Brut est de retour afin de poursuivre ses méfaits, dont le naufrage du restaurant Nautilus. Heureusement Chef Roll, le monstre de la cuisine, est là pour nous aider à préparer un plan qui mettra fin aux machinations du docteur Brut !

Alex is a typical kid-funny, curious, a little forgetful, and always hungry. His world is turned upside down when he finds a monster in his bedroom. Where did it come from? From The Book of Monsters, of course! That's where the little monster lived before the evil Dr. Brut chased him out. Now Dr. Brut is back for more evil deeds, including sinking the Nautilus Restaurant. Luckily Chef Roll, the kitchen monster, is on hand to help cook up a plan to stop him.
