Abel, eight years old, lives with his father in a big city that looks like a snail. In his neighborhood, he has his favorite landmarks: the grocery store and the little canteen. The family that surrounds Abel makes his childhood happy and sweet. Weekends with his godmother Manue and summer vacations with Mamichat become a refuge. He is sheltered from adulthood. Abel would also like his father to regain his childlike spirit so that work, responsibilities and daily tasks do not become the pitfalls that would make him sink into greyness.
