His friends Zebra and Impala warn him that it is time to go and find a new watering place. But Giraffe prefers to stay, he still hopes that other giraffes will come and get him. Even Cheetah runs away and the villagers gradually abandon their huts, while Jackal and his pack settle on the banks and bark all night long. Alone, hungry and thirsty, Giraffe finally decides to leave. But isn't it too late? On the way, he meets Baboon and then Elephant with an infallible memory who show him the way to another swamp. After a long walk and the arrival of a storm, Giraffe finally finds a new place to live where he is welcomed by other giraffes.
