Emilie and her old neighbour Mr Farouk have little in common except that people whisper about them. Emilie is the daughter of separated parents and Mr. Farouk comes from over there, the kind of people you see on TV. After an exchange of smiles one summer day, Mr Farouk invites the little girl to have tea in his flowery garden. With each sip, she discovers new sensations, flavours and unsuspected memories.
