Gaya et le petit désert

Gaya et le petit désert

This wonderful ecological tale tells the adventures of Gaya, a curious little girl who tries to understand why the well near her grandfather's house is dry. Whose fault is it? In order to get an answer, Gaya explores the surrounding forest and questions an ancient oak tree, an outraged squirrel, a dignified Great Horned Owl and a busy beaver. Everyone points to their neighbour! But his grandfather and an almanac as old as him will help him in his quest. Poetic illustrations and tender, mischievous songs accompany this optimistic tale, which invites us to believe that all beginnings are possible.

Cet album a été Coup de cœur de l'Académie Charles Cros en 2017.
