When he was little, Sudan had no name. His mother told him, "Rhinoceroses don't need names. When you want to show who you are, simply show your horn!" But soon, poachers killed his mother to steal her horn. To protect him, he was taken far away to a zoo, where his caretaker gave him his name. There, he grew up, developed a beautiful horn, broke it, but it grew back. He aged in the zoo, and one day, at last, he was brought back to his native savanna.
