Under his giraffe skin, Jérôme has the physiognomy of a bear. His spotted coat prompts him to turn to those he thinks are his fellow creatures. When they ask him, "Who are you? "Jérôme replies, "A giraffe, of course! But the long-necked beauties don't see it that way: after some discussion, they declare that "even though he is dressed in spots and orange", they consider him a bear. Dejected, the poor man went to the rock of his plantigrade brothers. There again and in view of their fear, he understands that he is not one of them. Only the arrival of Amédée, a giraffe with the appearance of an elephant, will pull Jérôme out of his painful solitude. The two of them will go and found a new herd of giraffes... atypical. Some of them will have the physique of a bird, a rhinoceros or a lion; but what does it matter?
