Don't be fooled by appearances! Karl Klaus Bouzy, known as KKB, is a beetle of the dung beetle family, those who forage and feed on dung. But KKB prefers flowers to poop, and his ambition is to become a perfumer. To do so, he must leave his family and try his luck in Paris. He is recommended to Marcelle, an ant who could help him set up shop. But when he arrives at her house, he is kept at a distance, because a dung beetle smells like manure. Despite the prejudices, will Bouzy succeed in convincing people and in realizing his dream: to become a perfumer?
