Le goût du cresson

On a road in Ohio, a Chinese-American family picks up wild cress. While the parents put their whole heart into it and the young boy has lots of fun, their daughter lives with this as a shame. Back home, she shuns the cooked meal by her mother, who then tells her a hurtful episode of her childhood in China, where cress played a role. That night, the cress tasted like a family reunion.

"Le goût du cresson" is available on Storyplay'r in an illustrated version, in an audio version narrated by french native storytellers. Thanks to our reading module, we can offer a reading aid for this story as well as for all the other ones, and tools for a dyslexic children adapted version.
