French story for children, original title : Le Lièvre et la Tortue

Le Lièvre et la Tortue

The Hare and the Tortoise is a famous fable by Jean de La Fontaine that denounces vanity in favour of perseverance.

It is the story of a hare who thinks he is faster than a tortoise to win the race. But he learns the hard way that "there is no point in running, you have to start on time".

"Le Lièvre et la Tortue" is available on Storyplay'r in an illustrated version, in an audio version narrated by french native storytellers. Thanks to our reading module, we can offer a reading aid for this story as well as for all the other ones, and tools for a dyslexic children adapted version.
