Mr. Rabbit is a movie star and the winner of many beauty contests. One morning while looking in the mirror, he realizes that someone has stolen his ears. Without them, Mr. Rabbit looks like... What exactly does he look like? Mr. Rabbit doesn't know. He has never seen a rabbit without ears. Distraught, he runs to the police station to tell his story to Commissioner Mastiff. The police officer notices that Mr. Rabbit is not the only one in this situation. There's also a rooster who's had his crest stolen, a peacock who's been left without feathers overnight and an angora cat who's had her beautiful tail stolen: these three animals have all won prizes in beauty contests. But who is having fun stealing these animals? And why? This is a mystery that Mr. Rabbit (who no longer looks like a rabbit) and Superintendent Mastiff will soon solve.
