Moi, j'attendais la pluie

It has been months since we last saw a drop of rain, everyone is waiting, including this little girl who has decided not to move from her yard until it rains. The masta (itinerant tailor), the wood delivery man, the barrel pusher, the uncles who come to drink tea, discuss the harvest and the day passes in a courtyard of Ouagadougou... the rain finally arrives and there is nothing more delightful than lying on the sofa and listening, well sheltered, to the sound of the rain on the corrugated iron. This story is an excellent pretext for sketching everyday life and introducing children to life in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso.

"Moi, j'attendais la pluie" is available on Storyplay'r in an illustrated version, in an audio version narrated by french native storytellers. Thanks to our reading module, we can offer a reading aid for this story as well as for all the other ones, and tools for a dyslexic children adapted version.
