It's story time for Mistress Amandine's class. Hélène the librarian starts to read... My treasure, little monster, cuddly toy, little louse, boubou, sausage..., they have nice little names, at home, the children. But Valentin has no sweet words; his mother is so tired that all she has left are hard words, black words that suffocate. The difficulties of everyday life sometimes make it impossible for a mother (or father) to communicate with her child in a non-violent way. It is therefore important for everyone to be attentive to others and to try never to forget to show them our love. THE IBBY
