For Martha, the little woods' marten, there are happy days with chocolate and hazelnut cake. But, there's more of the bad ones, where Daddy screams after Mommy. The screams and twisted faces then replace games and hugs. In those moments, overwhelmed by their problems, Martha's parents cannot take care of her and neglect her. Worried about the situation, the animals of the forest end up asking for advice from the old owl. He then decides, to leave Martha with Lady Rabbit, to protect her. Waiting for her parents to find a solution to their issues, Martha will be placed in the children's home, "L'Embellie". In this other house, surrounded by kind adults, the little marten could calm herself down and find the joy of playing again...
