This docufiction tells the story of Wei, a Chinese worker who came to France, like 140,000 others, to take part in the war effort between 1916 and 1918. When more than 20,000 will die, a few thousand will settle in Paris or around, for a life they hadn't imagined. They constituted the first Chinese immigration in France.
A book, published for the 100th anniversary of this event not well-known, to reconnect with our history and strengthen our memory.
