As soon as Alexis sets foot in Marseille, he already hates the city. From backyard fights to drug trafficking, from racketeering to organized crime, from the poor organization of public transportation to the tiny apartment where he has to live with his mother and aunt, everything takes him away from the comfort he was used to before his parents' divorce.
As Alexis gradually discovers the kindness and humor hidden behind the sarcasm of his friends, everything changes: one of his friends, a young undocumented Moldavian, is arrested by the police and is about to be deported. Doing everything possible to avoid the worst, Alexis discovers a reality that he did not suspect, the difficulties and threats that weigh on these immigrants in search of a better life.
