After a long winter, the sun wakes the men from the Great North and frees the fisher boats from ice. The village's fishermen leave the colored houses leaning on the hill, and joyfully busy themselves in the small harbor. They sing, they dance! Yet, sat on the wood pontoon Niels is worried. A bird told him that snowmen are heavily sweating and that the neighboring mountains leave their white coat. Niels turns to the horizon and tells himself that maybe, one day, it'll be too hot for polar bears...
In blue and black shades, the virtuous images by Cécile Serres go with the sensitive text by Niels Thorez on a current subject: global warming, and the disappearance of species, specifically polar bears.
