This novel is a modern version of the tale, approaching in a funny way contemporary themes such as animal welfare, work exploitation, women's rights, and even patriarchal domination.

The wolf often howled like this, with his throat open and his eyes closed. All in his cry. He did not see her approaching, the young girl. Did not hear her light step. At least, that's what she thought. This album was part of the international selection White Ravens 2015 and of the selection of children's books "Fille garçon l'aventure d'être soi" made by the Atelier des Merveilles for the Drôme department the same year. The cover was selected by the Society of Illustrators of New-York 2014.

On the shores of a black lake in China, under a dark sky, the young man Rong leads a lonely life without a sparkle. One day, next to a black feather, he finds a wounded bird that he will take care of. It turns out that this bird, which he names Qing and to whom he will give his freedom, is none other than the princess of the kingdom of crows. The beautiful Qing, grateful, will offer Rong a magic dress allowing him to fly away and follow her to her country which hides a thousand colors. Their love will be celebrated there and Rong's life will be changed forever.

The king has sent his inspector to Hameln to investigate the disappearance of all the children in this Lower Saxon town. The royal inspector questions the innkeeper and the latter recounts the invasion of the rats, the arrival of the foreigner, the deal made with the town and how the inhabitants welcomed him and rewarded him handsomely. The two of them discuss and the images scroll by, showing a very different reality: the greed and contempt of an entire town for this flute player who finally punished them. This kamishibai can be read by two people: the king's inspector and the innkeeper. The text is composed in the form of a dialogue.

Mortilius Jacks, the greatest wizard, is dead. He has divided his soul into 7 precious stones. Emeline, his wife, is in charge of finding 7 wizards to gather the stones and bring Mortilius back to life.
