A yellow fruit, shaped like a smile and full of vitamins... It's the banana!
Although the banana has been growing in nature for over 7,000 years, we have only been eating it for 200 years.
As strange as it may seem, the banana tree is not a tree but a giant grass... really giant! It climbs up to 10 meters in a few months!
The problem is that the intensive cultivation of bananas has infested the soil and water with insecticide! Today, this product is prohibited! Phew!
Since then, producers have found solutions to fight against pests without risk for the planet. What are their techniques?
