This beautiful story, full of hope and wisdom, took place in Australia… Long ago, during the days of dreams, the most powerful wizard of all time lived among Men. People were very happy together. They helped each other to build their homes, fought side by side against wild beasts, and met every evening to dance and sing to the beauty of the world.
Yet though they had everything to be happy about, people began to change. They became jealous, selfish, and wicked. War finally broke out ...
Disappointed, the great magician left them to live as far away as possible, on top of the highest mountain. Frightened by the violence of the Men, the birds followed him, as did the butterflies and the bees. And out of sorrow, all the flowers withered ... The whole land turned into a desert.
Long after this sad transformation, the elders kept telling the children how beautiful the earth was when it was covered with flowers. However, as the years passed, they ended up believing that this whole beautiful story was just a legend... However, among all the children, one child continued to believe it was true. Every night, he would ask his mother to tell him about the blossoming land, the earth as it was in the days of dreams… and every night, he would say, with bright eyes : THE CHILD : One day I will go and find the Great Magician and I will ask him to return our flowers !
Years passed by, and the little boy grew up… Until one day : YOUNG MAN : Mother, I am leaving. I'll find the mountain of the Great Magician and I will bring back the flowers to our land!
MOTHER : But this whole story is just an old tale for children ! My mother told it to me, as her mother did before her, and the mother of her mother before that... But nothing about it is true ! It's a dream !!! Flowers do not exist, they never did.
