Federated SSO connectors and catalog
Connectors allowing SSO and integration of the Storyplay’r catalog into your portal catalog have been developed for the following portals:
- CVS
- BiblioOnDemand/ERMES/Syracuse (Société Archimed)
- Orphée (Société C3RB)
- BiblioMondo
- Progilone
- GMInvent
- Decalog
- Bokeh
- CDSCRIPT
Other connectors could be developed depending on the request (it could be a paid service).
Each Storyplay’r reference is defined and expanded by the following metadata:
- Title
- Author(s)/Illustrator(s)
- Native publishing house
- Summary/Back cover
- Main categories
- Keywords (age group too). Each book has between 5 and 15 keywords.
Storyplay’r’s web interface displays this metadata (see below in French) and offers a precise and powerful search engine, allowing you to search for references on all the metadata in the catalog.
All the catalog metadata is available in the following form:
- Format: XML (see extract available in appendix). Other formats may be considered for the requested feed
- Availability: At any time, this feed can be retrieved as a Web Service.
« Referer » link
With any available connector, a « referer » link can be placed on the media library portal on pages that can only be accessed after authentication.
The problem with the « referer » link is that we can not distinguish users on the Storyplay’r side. This does not allow us to accurately estimate the number of active users.
Subscription form
We can also provide a subscription form that the media library will send to its members, which can be filled out online. Then, the media library will view the registration requests and validate them from its back office.
