The Sentence structure – Punctuation function is only available with a monthly or yearly reading aid subscription.
Learning to read involves recognizing each element that makes up (subject, verb, complement) and structures (capitalization, punctuation) a sentence. Knowing where a sentence begins and ends allows children to adapt their intonation, catch their breath, pause and recognize the elements that make up a sentence.
For each story, you have the opportunity to highlight:
- Punctuation within the sentence (commas, parentheses…)
- The final punctuation.
How to do it ? Nothing could be easier! Select the children’s album of your choice. You will then arrive on the book’s page.
Click on the green tab « Read », then display the text by clicking on this icon, on the top right:
Once the text is displayed on your screen, click on this icon, at the bottom right:
You will then be presented with several settings including:

By clicking on this icon, the punctuation of each sentence will be highlighted: periods, commas, parentheses, suspension points, exclamation points…
If you wish, it is possible to combine this parameter with another one, or even several, for a better deciphering of the reading. Once you have selected your parameter(s), click on the cross at the top right of your screen and start reading!
